Sandwiched between them are last week’s leaders Princeville C, who fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat against Bradford Deaf Centre A, who themselves now sit in fifth, having caught up on their match in hand away to Princeville D, which they lost 3-1.
Bradford Deaf Centre B, who were second bottom after five matches, continue to make progress.
They now sit fourth after 10 matches, with their latest game seeing them beat Princeville A 4-1, who have struggled since Christmas.
With only four rounds of fixtures still to play however, it is becoming an increasingly tough ask for any of the other teams to stop one of the top two taking the title.
