They slipped up by losing 3-2 to struggling Bradford Deaf Centre B, who produced a superb comeback.
All seemed to be going well for the leaders as they went 2-0 up, but then captain Dave Howarth suffered a heavy defeat to an in-form Jeremy Dixon.
He not only took the point for his game, but also secured the team aggregate point and the extra point for aggregate scores over the two matches between the teams this season.
Second-placed Princeville C thrashed rock-bottom Princeville B 5-0 to draw level with Pudsey B at the top, while Princeville A kept themselves in the hunt for the title with 4-1 win against Princeville D.
The week’s other match saw Bradford Deaf Centre A beat Pudsey A 4-1, meaning that they and Princeville D are not yet out of title contention, with the pair’s postponed match due to be played before the end of this month.
