Air dried, light waxed, excellent condition with a wavy grain pattern. Curly Narra’s heartwood can vary widely in color, ranging from a golden yellow to a reddish brown. Pale yellow sapwood is clearly demarcated from the heartwood. Quartersawn surfaces display ribbon-stripe figures, and the wood is also seen with mottled, beeswing, or curly figures. This wood is generally easy to work with hand and machine tools, It glues and finishes well. This wood has a distinct fragrance that lingers even after being worked.
