The 7th-seeded Meridian boys fell to 2nd-seeded Royal 65-47 on Friday night.
But the Trojans’ season is still alive, they now face 15th-seeded Overlake in a loser-out match on Wednesday.
The Nooksack Valley girls defeated Hoquiam 64-42 on Saturday to keep their season alive.
The 9th-seeded Pioneers now face 8th-seeded Naches Valley on Wednesday in another loser-out match.

The Lynden Christian girls survived a scare to move on to the quarterfinals.
The top-seeded Lyncs trailed Naches Valley by 16 points heading into the fourth quarter.
But LC closed the game with a 28-8 run to take a three-point win over Naches and send them into the loser-out match with Nooksack.
The Lynden Christian boys had a bit less trouble with their opening matchup.
The 3rd-seeded Lyncs handled Seton Catholic 74-57 to advance to the quarterfinals.
The top-seeded Lynden boys beat Mark Morris 70-50.
And the top-seeded Lynden girls pummeled Bainbridge 58-26 to keep their undefeated season alive.
All four teams from Lynden and Lynden Christian will play an undetermined opponent on Thursday with a chance to go to the semifinals.
In the 1B bracket, the Lummi boys and girls each earned wins to book their ticket to Spokane.
The 9th-seeded Blackhawk girls beat Muckleshoot 61-37 on Friday.
They’ll now face 8th-seeded Pateros in the Round of 12 on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the 2nd-seeded Lummi boys edged Moses Lake Christian Covenant 48-43 to advance to the quarterfinals.
Neither team from Western Washington University was able to end their regular season with a win.
The Vikings men couldn’t complete a second-half comeback and fell to Northwest Nazarene 86-83 on Saturday in their final game in Carver Gym this season.
The Viks rallied back from a 19-point deficit in the second half and tied the game with two minutes left, but couldn’t finish the job.
They finish the regular season with a 19-9 record and will face Montana State Billings as the No. 4 seed in the GNAC Championships quarterfinal on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Western women fell to 21st nationally ranked MSU Billings 66-51 to end their regular season with a 17-10 record.
They also enter the GNAC postseason tournament as the No. 4 seed and will face Northwest Nazarene in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
The Huskies men fell to Indiana 78-62 on Saturday for their fourth straight loss.
The UW women beat Oregon 64-56 yesterday to earn their fourth straight win.

Seattle overcame a rough first period to take a 6-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.
The Canucks ended the first period with a 2-1 lead, but the Kraken scored five of the next six goals to get the much-needed win.
Eeli Tolvanen led the effort with a pair of goals in their first home game in nearly a month.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the San Francisco 49ers are sending Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders for a fifth-round pick.
Samuel has been a dual threat for the 49ers, racking up nearly 4,800 receiving yards and 1,100 rushing yards in his six seasons with San Fran.
He now goes to a Commanders team that featured one of the league’s top offenses last season on its way to an appearance in the NFC championship game.
The trade cannot be processed until the new league year begins on March 12.
